Guy is recording a version of the script at the moment, with an alternate version also a possibility to offer extra options. The chosen performance will then be handed over to Cole for music and production. Thanks to everyone involved and to Ben for allowing us to use - and play with - his story.

Okay, two raw takes are synching in the dropbox. They are raw, no noise reduction or the like (I wanted to avoid any over-reduction issues in post). The second red-lines at the end but I think it isn't a problem, it is a grief ad lib and I think it works just fine. You can be the judge. Give them a listen and let me know if there are any notes. I can re-record this weekend.

You really make this story come alive and give it some drama and emotional punch. My only problem with your takes is deciding which one I like better.

Still, I really enjoyed the story quite a bit. The part I really needed to work on, and I'm hoping I succeeded well enough, was differentiating this character enough from my prior role. As you pointed out it wouldn't do to have them just sound the same...

I think Robin and I would both plump for the 'crazy' take over the 'straight' one for the production as it peps the story up and differentiates it, as you say, from the downplayed Wagon one.
